The event runs December 6-8, 2019 and is graciously hosted by Sarasota County with the Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) a special guest.
The event begins Friday December 6 with hours noon-9pm and continues Saturday 11am-9pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. Bring family and friends to enjoy fresh seafood and outstanding live musical performances. General admission is $5.
This event will offer a variety of seafood, cooked fresh on site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Seafood dishes are prepared using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Also select from meat and vegetarian offerings and a diverse menu of side dishes and desserts. Alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks are available.
While savoring your meal, relax to some of Floridas top musical groups from genres such as R&B, blues, jazz, rock and Caribbean sounds. Performers in 2019 are, beginning on Friday: West Coast Steel Pan Band (jazz, Caribbean), The Verge (classic rock 70s to present) and Billy Rice Band (country rock). Saturday performances: Big Night Out (dance, rock, alternative), RJ Howson (R&B, blues, rock), JP Soars & The Red Hots (soul, blues), Melanie Trucks Band and Fleetwood Max (Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band). On Sunday enjoy: The Whole Band featuring Callie Chappel (Americana, rock, variety), Black Honkeys (rock, soul) and Kettle of Fish (rock, blues, reggae).
On the breaks between performances, enjoy shopping in a marketplace of fine arts, crafts, and select fine products and food items.
The Humane Society will be onsite with their Big Mac Mobile Adoption Center. Please call ahead (***) ***-****) to confirm hours when the Big Mac will be onsite. Take a few moments to stop by and say Hi to the dedicated staff and meet the HSSC's extended family of friends awaiting adoption. Find a new companion and lend support to a wonderful and compassionate organization.
