The Carnival Organization of Jacksonville, Inc. invites you to "STAY TO GET AWAY" at our exciting two-day staycation right here in Northeast Florida.
Friday, August, 3rd through Saturday, August 11th, you, your family, and friends can join COOJI, a non-profit organization, as it brings music, dance, food, costumes, and more right to you. With live bands, dee-jays, vendors, local schools, artists, and dozens of volunteers, organizers guarantee that this year's event is a "can't miss!"
Jacksonville Caribbean Festival:
Celebrating all Caribbean cultures, the Jacksonville Caribbean Festival features everything from a street parade featuring Caribbean costumes and music, to an elaborate food festival highlighting all the flavors and aromas of Caribbean food, as well as Caribbean craft displays and catchy steel drum music and live performances.
The festive parade begins at 12:00pm, from the corner of 1st Street & A. Phillip Randolph Boulevard, then proceeds to the Food, Craft and Music Festival at Metro Park 2, 1410 Gator Bowl Blvd.
Dance along with the parade to the festival venue. The parade showcases colorful costumes, dancing, and the sounds of calypso, soca can be heard throughout the area.
Downtown, Jacksonville, FL 32202, is transformed into Jacksonville's "JAXCARIBFEST". At the festival, you can taste great Caribbean foods, stroll vendor booths with artwork, dance to the music and much more. The Jacksonville Caribbean Festival features a live stage concert with music and cultural performances, until 9:00pm .
