The event includes a chili cook-off, live music from the Weeds of Eden and Staber and Chasnoff, a guided walk along the River Trail, children's activities, and environmental and art exhibits. Chili tasting kits will be on sale for $5 and tickets will be on sale for a drawing of chance. All proceeds assist the Friends of O'Leno non-profit organization.
Admission to the park is free with the donation of one can of food (per person) to benefit a local food bank. For more information, email Friends of O'Leno at FriendsofOleno@********.*** or contact the park.
And in conjunction with the Cookoff, be sure to take in all the activities of the Springs Celebration! All happening from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kids Activities, Environmental Exhibits, Art Vendors, and Live Music. Plus, a guided interpretive walk on park trails. Chili Taster kits will be offered for $5 starting at 12:30 pm, tasting begins at 1:00 pm. Chance drawings for items generously donated by local businesses.

All proceeds from these events will be used for the care of our animal ambassadors at the OLeno Nature Center, and to enhance the publics understanding of their unique contributions to our environment.
