Cooter Music Festival is a three-day emerging music festival that gained nationwide notoriety on the Daily Show in its inaugural year. The festival has eight bands, two water shows, full carnival and an Adventure Zone. The belle of the ball is the cooter, which is celebrated with hourly turtle races, a water skiing turtle mascot and turtle merchandise. Free admission and free parking available in the downtown.

-Turtle races take place each hour
-Nature World with live animals such as owls, mice and opossums
-Cooterween Costume Contest
-Cooter Zombie Run
