Fourth Saturday in October Annually. The Florida Forest Festival is a celebration of the forestry industry in Taylor County. With the World's Largest FREE Fish Fry, Lumberjack - shows and competitions, arts and crafts, antique car show, Heritage Village, children's games & story telling, this event promises to have something for everyone in the family and the best part is the event is free. All day entertainment on stage and lumberjack shows throughout the day. Heavy equipment shows and exhibits as well as loader competitions, cross cut saw competitions and chainsaw competitions.
