Annual Arts Crafts and Antiques Show in McIntosh, Florida Saturday, October 20, 2018 8 am to 5 pm Free admission to the 1890 Festival held in Victorian McIntosh on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 8 am to 5 pm.

Over 280 arts, crafts and antiques vendors will participate, including a basket weaver, a spoon chime maker, a glassblower, leather tanner and origami artist, all demonstrating their crafts. The beautifully costumed Scottish clan will participate for the first time in 40 years. Old live oaks and Victorian homes provide shade and the backdrop for the all day free main stage entertainment. This year's entertainment will feature an array of music from country to Cajun, bluegrass to folk and gospel. The museum in the old railroad depot will be open all day. There will be a ring toss, sand art and face painting around the Depot for children. Harmony School will be offering games like ring toss an duck pond, and there will be a geode digging booth on 4th street.

Van Ness Park is the central location for playground equipment, musical entertainment and chairs, benches and picnic tables. Food vendors around the center will offer a variety of options. McIntosh is on Hwy 441, midway between Ocala and Gainesville. Vendors and entertainment will be on the east side of town around the park. Parking is available in several privately run lots off of the highway with prices ranging from $5 to $10. Some of the churches on 441 allow parking for donations. Handicap parking is at avenue H and 4th street.

The 1890's Festival is sponsored by the Friends of McIntosh, a nonprofit, benevolent organization, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural and historic beauty of McIntosh. Chartered since 1973, the organization has provided thousands of dollars in college scholarships to local young people, in addition to support or the McIntosh area charter school. The school, churches and local organizations depend on the festival for fundraisers. This year special booths will be open for Operation Christmas Child, McIntosh Christian Church, SPAC of Ocala, American Cancer Relay for Life, and Flemington Baptist Church sign a Christmas card for a soldier.
