| Description: | The inaugural Gainesville`s Blue Crab and Seafood Festival will debut on July 25th, 2015 at the Alachua County Fairgrounds. In Gainesville, FL. This is an outdoor festival that showcases the best of seafood, culture and music. The focus of the Blue Crabs and Seafood Festival is to put the unity back into community. In our fair city we have seen our share of senseless violence, so we are coming together in the spirit of unity to bring something positive to our community. It is our desire to instill hope in the lives of our youth by showing them that we can come together and do something inspirational and fun by highlighting seafood, seasonings, gospel and old feel good music, and bringing attention to this food that has become a way of life for Floridians. ï¶ The Gainesville Blue Crab Festival must receive the signed contract, fee, and proposed menus no later than June 26, 2015. Applications received without payment, menu, or contract and insurance certificate or info will not be processed. ï¶ Money Order or Cashier's Checks should be payable to Save Our City, Inc.. All fees are required to be paid in full with application. ï¶ ***NO CASH, PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.*** ï¶ Mail contract, fees to: Triple A Marketing 4925 NE 3rd Place Gainesville, FL 32641 If paying by credit card, there will be a 3.85% increase. Call in to (***) ***-**** for merchant services. ï¶ Main Food Court Vendor spaces are 20' frontage by 20' depth. Commercial Display Area and Craft Area food vendor spaces are sold in 10' by 10' blocks, with only 10' depth available. We reserve the right to limit vendors to 1 space, at our discretion. ï¶ Any food vendor operating out of a trailer must arrive to be parked at 6am on Saturday. All food vendors in the Main Food Court and Commercial Display/Resale Area will be inspected by the Festival Committee Vendors cannot open without successfully completing these inspections. All vendors are required to serve during all hours. The Main Food Court Vendor fee is $350.00 per space. A space is 20' x 20'. The fee for a Food spot 10` by 10` is $250.00. The Commercial Display/Resale Area is $175.00 per space. The Craft Area is $175.00 per space. A space is 10' by 10'. Applicants may purchase up to two(2) Commercial or Craft Area Food vendor spaces but the depth is restricted to 10'. All food vendor applications must be postmarked no later than June 28, 2015. $100.00 Clean up deposit will be charged to each spot if spot is clean at the end of the event you will receive your clean up deposit back but only if your spot is clean. ï¶ . Generators are permitted. There is no additional power at the fairgrounds all vendors must provide you're on power. ï¶ All Vendors are required to have at the minimum a 10x10 tent and a banner with your company name or logo on it hand written posters or signs will not be permitted at the Festival what so ever. If you need a banner let the festival committee know in advance to get a banner made. ï¶ BEVERAGES {sodas & water} ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO BE SOLD BY THE GAINESVILLE BLUE CRAB & SEAFOOD COMMITTEE ONLY ANY VENDORS WHO BREAKS THIS WILL BE SUBJECT TO DIMISEL OF THE FESTIVAL. ï¶ Legible menus with prices must be clearly posted at all times. ï¶ Each vendor will have access to the park for set up and tear down. Trucks & trailers will not remain in the park all vendors need to have a first aid kit, ABC fire extinguisher (K if cooking with grease) and meet Fire Marshall Standards. The Festival reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to close down food vendors who have serious violations or lack of professionalism. ï¶ Should you have any questions, email contacts are returned quickly this contract is NOT assignable or transferable. Only businesses, groups or organizations listed on the application will be permitted to operate or advertise from the location. ï¶ Everyone that you deal on the Committee of the Gainesville Blue Crab Festival is a volunteer. We are all trying to put on a great Event and to give you the opportunity to make some money. The Festival volunteers assist with this one Festival every year. Abuse of our Volunteers will not be tolerated. Vendor Release I do hereby release the GAINESVILLE BLUE CRAB & SEAFOOD FESTIVAL COMMITTEE and the ALACHUA COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS from any and all liability of any kind for any loss, damage or injury to myself, my staff, or merchandise and/or equipment during my paricipation in the Gainesville Blue Crab & Seafood Festival. I further agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify the GAINESVILLE BLUE CRAB& SEAFOOD FESTIVAL COMMITTEE and the ALACHUA COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS against all claims, losses, damages or liability of any kind including cost and attorney fees arising out of my participation in the Gainesville Blue Crab & Seafood Festival.
