High Springs was incorporated in 1892. Those pioneering families, some of whose decedents still live here today will be honored during this celebration. We will have re-enactments, a Heritage Village with multiple individual demonstrators, the Antique Tractor/Farm Equipment Show, Indian Ceremonial Dance Circle and tepee displays of Indian crafts and culture, the Historic Quilt Show, Black History Museum and Historic Railroad Room housed in the Historic Elementary School Building, While celebrating our heritage, we also include aspects of a present-day spring festival, including a Kids Korral, a large Food Court, live music at the James Paul Park gazebo, various contests, such as the Pioneer Costume and the Pie Baking contests . and of course a wide variety of Fine Art and Craft Vendors.
