Bring your family, friends, and appetite to Main Beach and enjoy great entertainment including live music from regional and local bands, all while experiencing the thrill of the competition. Cheer on your favorite backyard team as they battle against other local teams in the Backyard Competition. Get ready for football season and tailgate parties! After all, nothing goes better with barbeque than football.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase inside the gates. Outside food and beverage not permitted. No pets, please.

There will be plenty of barbeque and all the fixings. Multiple professional and backyard teams will be selling different styles of lip-smacking barbeque. Visit BBQ Vendor Row at the event to purchase your favorite. There's no better place to get your fill of savory barbeque than at a barbeque competition!

Included with your Saturday general admission ticket, enjoy tasting samples from select participating teams from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Samples are limited to first come, first served basis. Arrive early for prime sampling availability.

The VIP Pig Pub will feature table and bar seating as well as fans and plenty of cold beverages and shade -- all with a great view of the stage! On Friday this will also include a Craft Beer Tasting from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. There is a $10 cover charge on Friday and a $5 cover charge on Saturday to enter the VIP Pig Pub, with access all day the day of purchase. Must be 21 years of age or older to enter VIP Pig Pub with valid ID.

Proceeds from the Great Southern Tailgate Cook-Off benefit the Gator Bowl Association and its charitable organizations.
