| Description: | The date for the Pride Festival this year is October 26th. The event takes place at the Bo Diddley Community Plaza in downtown Gainesville and features live musical entertainment, kids activities, and a raffle to encourage attendees to visit vendor booths. Each year we have had an increase in festival attendance with around 5000 attendees in 2012. In fact, last year we had to start the festival an hour earlier to accommodate the continued growth of the event. | ||
