| Description: | THE GEEK FILM FESTIVAL @ FSC The Geek Film Festival aims to present geek film and geek interest film to audiences through documentary, narrative, animation, experimental and fan films. With a focus on geek, geek interest, comic, gaming, animation, anime, manga, science fiction, fantasy, RPG, and more, films will be presented from all kinds of filmmakers, both professional and amateur. Our Inaugural fest will be held at Florida Supercon - July 1-4, 2011, located at The Miami Airport Convention Center, 711 NW 72nd Ave., Miami, FL 33126 http://www.floridasupercon.com/ Submission deadline is May 10, 2011 (6:00pm Eastern) Program determinations will be made by June 15, 2011 Program will be announced June 17, 2011.* (*Programming changes may occur until and throughout the festival, and will be announced as soon as possible) Preliminary screening schedule (subject to change): Friday, July 1: 4:00PM - 3:00AM Saturday, July 2: 11:00AM - 3:00AM Sunday, July 3: 11:00AM - 2:00AM Monday, July 4: 12:00PM - 7:00PM | |||
