Description: On August 1st, 2010 AEG Live, JLA – GPE w/ Earth Awareness will be presenting jam greats Gov’t Mule w/ Jackie Greene and the Bone dogs at the Riverfront Park in Cocoa, FL. Govt Mule (pronounced Government Mule) is a Southern rock band formed in 1994 as an Allman Brothers Band side project by Warren Haynes and Allen Woody. Aside from the big stage talent under the beautiful waterfront setting, the event will feature a renowned and diverse array of critically acclaimed food and art vendors. The night will culminate with a headline performance by jam greats Gov’t Mule.

Doors will open at 4:15 pm, live music will start at 4:30 when The Bone Dogs take the stage. The Bone Dogs performance will be followed by Jackie Greene’s set, and Gov’t Mule will close the event. Tickets to the event will be $19 in advance, and $29 day of show. All tickets subject to applicable taxes and fees. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 4th at 10am through ticketmaster. ABOUT THE NON PROFIT GROUP – EARTH AWARENESS, INC:
E.A.R.T.H. is Entertainers Against Ruining Their Home – A group of entertainment industry professionals dedicated to the preservation of creative outlets and natural experiences for the youth of Central Florida. E.A.R.T.H. Awareness was created to promote quality family time in a natural setting with programs in music, art, drama, planet-protecting education, and fun. The organization raises funds to help with their "Stephen Miller Music in The Schools Program" which is a direct-to-teacher classroom supply program for art, music, and drama programs in Central Florida schools. The organization also produces a series of Teen Events in cooperation with other area youth programs. They target lasting memories of fun educational experiences and teach families and children how to make a peaceful difference for the future. The preservation of roots music is a key component to E.A.R.T.H.S programs. E.A.R.T.H. have donated $45,000 in Musical Instruments and Equipment to Central Florida schools since 2000. The fundraiser’s ambition is to assist EARTH in purchasing instruments for Golf View Elementary School in Rockledge, FL. E.A.R.T.H. is completely supported by contributions from the community and all contributions are tax deductible. All proceeds donated to E.A.R.T.H. are used to enhance the lives of creative young minds and for E.A.R.T.H. Awareness Youth Arts Programs. The organization is run by a volunteer board of directors who give countless hours to make this dream a reality. E.A.R.T.H. supports young creative minds organizing countless E.A.R.T.H. Awareness youth programs annually.
